Taste in the Morning

About the song: This was my very first self recording project several years ago, and I’m really fond of it. I wrote this song with a simple base so that I could add to it. I thought it came out pretty well.

Taste in the Morning

Keep me here
I long to know your name
To see how you taste in the morning
(You think you’ve found something, you’ll find it wasn’t anything like you thought it was)

All the things
(Do you want to follow me into the shallows before it gets too crowded back where we started?)
Finally came clear
(Everything we dream will one day be reality. Will you be around when it all becomes gravity?)
To see how it was in the morning
(You think you’ve found something, you’ll find it wasn’t anything like you thought it was)

Keep me here
(Do you want to follow me into the shallows before it gets too crowded back where we started?)
I long to know your name
(Everything we dream will one day become reality. Will you be there when it all becomes gravity?)
To see how you taste in the morning
(You think you’ve found something, you’ll find it wasn’t anything like you thought it was)
